Financial literacy is essential
Life is not a straight line for anyone, planning is a process, and there are many variables to consider. My goal is to make money matters more relatable to everyone, no matter what your background or experience may be; everyone deserves financial peace of mind and understanding the importance of financial planning and preparedness.
Now I feel it is time to seek elected office and to take on a new role of service, advocacy, leadership, creativity, and connection. Sandy Springs is my home and I want to contribute my energy to making it the best city in Georgia and becoming
the first woman to represent District 2!
My parents always taught us to be independent, persevere, and to give back thoughtfully. As a councilwoman, I will commit to strengthening the relationships within our community by being accessible, listening to my neighbors, and developing creative and thoughtful solutions. I want to empower collaboration amongst our diverse community and city leadership, build trust through transparency and clear processes, and budget accountability.
Let us continue to build together!

Family is very important to me, and we are a family that believes in service! My mom has been in healthcare for over 30 years and was one of the essential workers during the pandemic. Daddy was a retired Army veteran, an artist, and loved serving as a deacon in his church. My brother, Troy, joined the Marines directly after high school and continues to serve his country today with his current deployment on the Marine Expeditionary Unit.
Lastly, Maxx is the newest addition to my family and a true companion. He’s a rescue and has a big personality.
